I have always been rather puzzled by the BBC's lack of what I deem proper respect for our Doctor Who fans across the pond. (And elsewhere in the world). By not providing link ups/including you in contests/give aways/surveys/ETC. Pattie said she entered a BBC Dr Who page survey the other day, and after she submitted it, the screen came up saying:

"We are only interested in UK comments at this time."

Of course they do seem able to take your US $$$ whenever they are offered without any fuss or bother.

thank you for the kinds words. yes, we truly do seem like red-headed, left-handed, stepchildren RE the BBC and Doctor Who. we also remember the TIMEs that the BBC has wronged you brits too. but we do not blame the good doctor for any of this, ever. so we will continue to faithfully follow his adventures in all of TIME and SPACE till either he or we run out of regenerations. our ever belong to the doctor. we tolerate the BBC.

Yes, I was concerned also but I know snail mail between the continents is still faster than a message in a bottle.

I always call Doctor Partner (or he calls me) at noontime to see what's up. He told me today he thought my photograph arrived...large packet with royal stamps on it.

So as soon as I got home, checked the keyboard (where all my post is left) and yes! YES! YES!!

Opened it, untaped the chipboard and there was Tom's smiling face and extended hand. I'm pleased I chose to get a current one instead of a Doctor Who photo.
Now I'm sure it was taken the same day as the ones on the home page here...same coat, scarf and back yard.
