Alas poor Bessie, you were not to last. The Doctor just couldn't fit you into his many pockets. I guess he told the producers he did not want to ride in Bessie or the producers decided it would get one final appearance for a while because it was, and is a part of the Pertwee Era. Or a little of both, I'm not quite sure based on his reply.

Yes Tom thank you for answering my question as well. It's only the 7th and you're at it already. Maybe that was one of your unspoken resolutions? That's a rhetorical question, not one I expect answered. I'm very glad to hear that our Mr. Tom already has two more Big Finish gigs in the works. A couple of his answers are pure funny as we have come to expect.

Dear Allan,

I did improvise in rehearsals and if the front office liked my lines they went in. I never really ate jelly babies outside the BBC, I always have one these days when I'm offered at conventions or in hospital or bus queues or at church during the sermon. I always hope the preacher might shout: "What about me?"
