I find it strange that, although it’s obvious that 007 is really a Time Lord, they always leave out the details in those films of why he regenerated. Maybe, as Sean Connery would say; ‘it’sh a shecret that will be revealed in due courshe’

Philip, Agreed.
007 was Lucifer on leave from Hades. But Connery is very, very discreet and would never give anything away. Satan also had a rather fetching lisp. See Revelation 13: 5 to 6.
