Eccentricity

Is there less taste for eccentricity in the entertainment industry and life in general these days?

Dear GL,
I don't know, but some people think that I am odd. Some think I'm funny; I certainly got lots of laughs when I played Macbeth. I never think of myself as odd. I just know by my creaky joints that I am old. I try to laugh off the aches and mostly I succeed, but not always. Johnny Depp is deliciously quirky and sometimes exquisitely camp. I'd like to be a pirate in his films.
