Thank you for answering my last few questions. Here's another one, I'm afraid I'm quite full of them for my heroes:
If you could handpick an actor to be the doctor, much like Hartnell picked Troughton, who would you pick, and, if you don't mind, why? I'm not referring specifically to the 12th doctor which brings in thoughts of the Valeyard (If Nu Who sticks to continuity). XD

The Next Doctor

I always thought Eddie Izzard would be a wonderful Doctor Who. The Doctor is an alien and Eddie has the sort of personality that suggests he has seen a world elsewhere, and that he has secrets.
Of course John Nathan Turner was not interested in my opinions: he and I did not agree about interpretation. He was glad to see the end of Tom Baker and I can't say I blame him.
