Julian Glover

Postby Herod the Budgie on June 2nd, 2010, 5:07 pm

Hi Tom, hope you are well.

I'd like to ask you about your memories of 'City of Death' and, in particular, working with Julian Glover. I've always thought those exchanges between The Doctor and Count Scarlioni were very witty and Julian also seemed to be relishing his role. I wonder have you met or worked with Julian at all since 'City of Death' ?

Best wishes,
Laurence in Liverpool.

Hello Laurence in Liverpool,

Indeed, Julian did relish his role. But I can't recall our dialogue. I remember we talked about playing Shakespeare. He is a fine classical actor.

And I recall enjoying Paris very much. Later I spent 4 years in France where I hoped to live but it did not work out; Paradise is not all it's cracked up to be.

All good wishes
