Recently I tasted my very first gin and tonic. Well, it wasn't MY gin and tonic. It was someone else's but I sampled a swallow (or two or three). Then I tried another taste of one from another bar, and it tasted so different. Almost flat and not as "vivid." We reasoned it must be a difference in the brand of gin. My question is, what's the best brand of gin for a proper gin and tonic. Cheers! Gobs (aka Susie)
If the G&T was flat it was the fault of the Tonic. The best Tonic in the world is called Fever Tree. But I don't want to encourage anyone to start a relationship with any kind of gin. Gin can be a trap, if you get my drift.
