Tom's Funniest Lines In DW

Postby Graceful Leonard on November 24th, 2010, 12:44 pm

Watching Seeds of Doom, I laughed out loud at Tom's, "Well, your candour does you credit" line.

I love the moments of humour in his stories.

What's your favourite amusing line or scene in Tom's era?
"A man's work is nothing but this slow trek to rediscover, through the detours of art, those two or three great and simple images in whose presence his heart first opened."

I love this line from The Androids Of Tara:
"Would you mind not standing on my chest, my hat's on fire?" Surreal and funny.

“Is that finger loaded?” from Android Invasion is a great line.

From 'Face of Evil':

"Back away, or I'll be forced to kill him with this deadly jelly baby."

A good one that I found recently is from the episode, Invasion in Time.

"I'm a Time Lord not a painter or designer!"

I really like the jelly baby one as well, lol. Soo many great lines !

How about in City of Death when he tells the woman married to the Count-

"You're an attractive woman, probably."
