I can't find anything to that effect after a quick search, but I seem to recall that Robot wasn't the first filmed. Maybe one of the resident experts can enlighten us.

I'll take out Stones of Blood, just because I like anything to do with stone circles, and Beatrix Lehmann was quite a fun character.

And with that, I'm going to withdraw from the selections because, of those remaining, I either haven't seen them or can happily live without them!

Here's what's left...

The Invisible Enemy
The Sun Makers
The Ribos Operation
The Stones of Blood
The Power of Kroll
The Armageddon Factor
The Creature from the Pit
Nightmare of Eden
The Horns of Nimon
The Leisure Hive
State of Decay
Warriors' Gate

I stand corrected. I seem to be wrong about that. I think that seeing the first TB interview as the Doctor was on the set of ROTC and the interviewer didn't know what he looked like, which led me to believe that... anyway. According to Wikipedia, it was shot on the same set as The Ark in Space (another excellent one) immediately following its shooting.

So, fellow posters, once again, I stand corrected :-).

No need to apologise, not to us. We are a forgiving lot here at Tom's dinner table. :D

Point of order--I do believe that The Sunmakers was already removed on an earlier page.

I remove The Ribos Operation, a highly underrated story.

The Invisible Enemy
The Power of Kroll
The Armageddon Factor
The Creature from the Pit
Nightmare of Eden
The Horns of Nimon
The Leisure Hive
State of Decay
Warriors' Gate

Have to save The Invisible Enemy. I liked when Leela and the Doctor were shrunk and injected into the Doctor's brain. Coming out through the tear ducts was pretty wild stuff.

So: the list now stands at:

The Power of Kroll
The Armageddon Factor
The Creature from the Pit
Nightmare of Eden
The Horns of Nimon
The Leisure Hive
State of Decay
Warriors' Gate

We're getting close! But it has to be said: The Armageddon Factor was a pretty good episode. State of Decay was nothing to wheeze at either.

...

...and nearly identical to the Isaac Asimov story/movie, "Fantastic Voyage". Just sayin'. :)

The Invisible Enemy. Ah yes. This was one of my favorites growing up watching the serials on PBS in the 1980s/1990s. Glad to see it escape the wrath of the 'Worst Tom Baker Story' thread. ;)

Nightmare Of Eden needs to be saved, if only for it's intelligent story.

The list now stands as:
The Power of Kroll
The Armageddon Factor
The Creature from the Pit
The Horns of Nimon
The Leisure Hive
State of Decay
Warriors' Gate
