Tales of Poppy

Dear Tom,
As a friend to hounds, I enjoy hearing your stories of Poppy and I would like to know more about how she came to live with you. Since she is a lurcher, I wonder if she shares any unusual behaviors with greyhounds such as lying on her back with her legs extended or deciding to stand on the kitchen counter? Hope all is well with all creatures in the Baker household,

HL hound,

I don't know about other dogs but my Poppy, after a long run and sniff in the wildwood, lies on her back with her legs in the air. Wanton is the word that leaps to mind, impure wantonness. She can also do a standing leap onto the kitchen island in order to steal the cat's food. She also adores me and when I get back from work she stretches and bows and bows, and looks at me as if she cannot believe her eyes.

I can't express how much it pleases me.
