Correct merlinsseer!

But you are supposed to ask a question now. HE also played the baddie ...Moriarty. And for a staged play a pretty neat trick! Also pics of HIM in the role is in the photo section of this Website. The play was called: "The Mask of Moriarty."

ok, ok , ok-i've dug around in my bag of useless knowledge ( you never know when this #&^%# might come in handy ) and found something . Question: Name the film that the other ( now deceased ) " tom baker " was in that caused all the confusing rumors about HIMSELF being deceased. clue- both Tom Baker's have films that have one director in common.

wonders if i stumped them or confused them

"Question: Name the film that the other ( now deceased ) " tom baker " was in that caused all the confusing rumors about HIMSELF being deceased. clue- both Tom Baker's have films that have one director in common."

Research tells me that there isn't actually a film that the American Tom Baker was in that caused the confusion. The American Tom Baker died of a drug overdose in 1982. Some publications reported, mistakenly, that the British Tom Baker had died. Simple as that. I am unable to find a director who worked with both actors. Maybe if I dig a little more...

Since I can't actually answer the question as it is stated I don't know if I should continue the game. Why not?

The doctor said to me "It's very hard to talk when someones got a finger on a nerve, isn't it" (I may be paraphrasing here) Who am I?
Doctor: "I'm Lord President, and I'm called sir."

truth be told , there is a film and this is sort of a tricky question as the director in question did a segment of the film and the actor did another segment. The film is "Amore e rabbia " aka " Love and anger" from 1969. Paolo Pasolini directed the segment called " La sequenza del fiore di carta" ( the segment of the paper flower ) and the actor did the the segment called "L'indifferenza" ( The indifference ).
